Yawn… another day at the office, followed by dinner and dishes, followed by some TV, followed by balancing the checkbook, followed by… you get the idea.

I laugh a lot and make it a point to learn something new each day.

2) In terms of your beliefs surrounding money, do you feel that your financial well-being depends on your circumstances?

For sure it does. If I‘d been born rich my life would be completely different than it is today.

To a degree. It’s easier for some than others. Both luck and personal will play a role.

Not in the slightest. Financial abundance has nothing to do with circumstance. We are responsible for our lot in life.

3) Whatever your practice for health and well being, whether it’s yoga, dance, martial arts, running, or another physical activity, how consistent are you in your routine? (choose the answer that is CLOSEST to accurate)

Die Hard. Hell or high water, rain or shine, my practice is on.

Although I see myself as active and fit, I could definitely step things up in this arena if I could find the time.

Consistency? Would whenever I can fit it in, count?

4) After taking a yoga class (or similar), how long does the feeling of calm and centeredness stay with you?

Until the next day or class.

Depends on what else would come across my path afterwards—people, events, and circumstances can sometimes throw me for a loop.

Knowing my tendency to stress, within minutes I’d slip right out of calm and back into the gigantic TO DO list in my head.

5) When was the last time you willingly did something that truly scared you?

Yesterday.

Within the last 2 months.

Don’t recall… it was a while ago, and I can’t promise I did it willingly.

6) Regarding how desire affects your life, which of these statements best matches your viewpoint?

It is my understanding that desire is the root of all suffering and that as I progress in my practice, I will experience less wanting, more acceptance, and therefore less pain.

I think desire is a healthy thing if I stay aware of my motivation.

I don’t have a problem with desire. I use it as a catalyst for powerful change.

7) When you are in a group setting, such as a party or a yoga class, how often do you find yourself comparing and judging… yourself and others?

Nearly every time; by default, I feel competitive or slightly insecure in social settings.

Occasionally, but I try not to entertain the thought.

Almost never; I am accepting of others and myself, and feel completely comfortable and relaxed in social settings.
